Okay for practiceâ¦maybe I bought this for my Dad for christmas to go along with his Les Paul. The clean on the amp sounds fine (As almost all solid states amps do) but the distortion is pretty thin sounding and decays very quickly. This is standard for almost all lower end solid state amps, but it seemed pretty hard to stand for me. Great little amp – perfect for home practice and small … Great little amp – perfect for home practice and small sessions. I use it with both my Les Paul and my Ovation acoustic. The sound is clean, clear at all volume levels. If you are playing in front of a crowd of 10,000 – this is not the amp for you ;-). I mostly use the clean channel, with my pedals.
