I bought this for my niece who liked playing my OS OU-5 I bought this for my niece who liked playing my OS OU-5. It’s a great starter for a child. Good materials, excellent workmanship, tunes easily and is in tune all the way up the neck. It is a laminated (ply) construction but has a strong voice and very, very passable tone. Laminates are fine for kids because they need very little maintenance and are rugged.
