Shifty …. Fantastic … except … These mics do a very nice job in my home studio. I love the interchangeable tips that increase the versatility. I took off a star for the case. I love that these mics have a case to protect them when not in use, but it does no good when the parts shift about while the case is closed. Incredible Value These mics represent incredible value. They are solidly made, and perform excellently. They have low self-noise, low handling noise, and good sensitivity. A good value These mics are a pretty good value.This is certainly the least expensive small diaphragm mic pair with omni, cardioid and hyper-cardioid capsules there is anywhere. They are well built and do what they are supposed to do. The frequency response is rather peaky at the top end, especially with the hyper-cardioid capsules, like many inexpensive Chinese mics. They are flattest with the omnis, somewhat peaky with the cardioids and noticeably peaky with the hypers. They are quiet, though, which is…
