Luna UKETCMAH Tattoo Concert Mahogany Ukulele w/Gig Bag
This Tattoo Concert Uke takes its design from traditional Hawaiian body ornamentation. The designs were monochromatic, tattooed in black against brown skin. The patterns and layout were strongly geometric and there were many shapes and symbols representing the natural island world: stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, and birds. This design is based on a Hawaiian turtle (honu), a symbol of longevity and endurance rendered in a Polynesian tattoo style. The fret markers are stylized sharks teeth. This concert uke boasts a clear, resonate sound both by virtue of its Concert body and Mahogany construction. Beautiful sound – tremendous value.

Amazing sound for the price Ordered this Luna for my 16 year old daughter who is an avid guitarist and cellist. She loves it. Beatlutiful tattooed mahogany. Amazing sound for the price. Purchased with having read negative reviews about tuning slippage and poorly manufactured tuning mechanisms. I found the tuning mechanisms to be just fine. Its ok. I have been playing ukulele my whole life as most Hawaiian kids that live in Hawaii do. I noticed good and bad things with this ukulele.The good things:The box was delivered with no damage.The look of the ukulele is very nice.
