A great strap. I bought this for my Gretsch Honeydipper that did not have a strap button on the neck at the body. I had used a strap that attached with a piece of twine and hated it, both the way it looked and at times it interfered with my fretting hand position. This strap is perfect for me. It holds up my guitar which is the ultimate point and it’s comfortable enough and well made. It took me a couple of days to figure out how it hooks onto the guitar and while I’ll freely admit I’m not the sharpest tack in the drawer, I’m surely not the only one who struggled like this. Part of the problem is the instructions were sort of useless, they don’t show the strap the way you see it to the left here. Basically the instructions omit the most important part and since that’s completely…
This strap is soft and comfortable. Installation takes place above the nut and over the strings. When I hang the guitar the strap loop often slips down onto the neck , requiring adjusting back into place before playing. When I change the strings, I am going to put the strap loop on first and then the strings so it will stay in place. This method will make the strap semi permanent until the next string change but it is soft and will not damage the guitar. It also fits in the case attached…
