LP artist Stanton Moore was born and raised in New Orleans. He is a dedicated drummer and performer especially connected to the city, its culture and collaborative spirit. Driven and inspired by the thriving music scene of his hometown Moore helped found the New Orleans-based essential funk band Galactic, which continues to amass a worldwide audience. Incorporated by Stanton Moore as an essential element of his unique drum kit set up, this 12″ tunable pandeiro fits nicely in a snare stand or the LP Super Mount-all with a ratchet tilter. Mic it from underneath and strike it with a drumstick for maximum effect.

Versatile Perfect for those Stanton Moore type patterns during a drum solo. I play the intro to “Sprung Monkey” with it and it sounds downright awesome. I’ve found this to be a pretty unique accessory to my standard drumkit. I play cover music in bar bands, and it offers a lot of possibilities. The build quality is great, as to be expected from LP.
