Excellent Product for my Dobro I have installed this pickup onto my Dobro Houndog Deluxe roundeck because I thought the factory pickup sounded awful and tinny. I simply attached this pickup using the provided adhesive and taped the cord to the underside of the guitar. I am sure one could go to a guitar mechanic to have it properly installed, but I simply taped the cable online the bottom edge of the guitar and taped the input to my strap. It’s a *pickup*, not a microphone Bought it for my Regal round neck resonator. Installation was a breeze, being very careful to get it right the first time with the sticky tape. Placed it right next to the sound plate as recommended. It’s very low profile, so it didn’t get in the way of the strings. Now, the thing to keep in mind with this is that it is primarily a pickup.
