Lace Dobro Neck Sensor – Round Neck – 3/8 tall

Very disappointing. Slopily made. Noisy (Hummmmmmmmmm) I was very excited about this product when I finally discovered it. I was looking for a pickup to use on my biscuit bridge resonator guitar. Lace has a great reputation and supposedly had designed this pickup for dobro resonators. I try to buy American when possible. When I received the package it said Made In USA in big letter right on the box, this was gonna be good. Decent Resonator Pickup for the Price I bought this pickup to use on round neck resonator guitars (single cone and tri-cone) that I need to amplify but do not want to modify. I get the best resonator sound using a quality condenser mic near the upper bout but that only works if the PA is good and the sound tech knows what they are doing. Next best is a pickup that mounts on the biscuit or cone (Highlander, Fishman, Schatten, or K&K) but that requires at least dis-assembly of the guitar and often holes drilled. A condenser mic…
