I really like it and it’s easy to install. Yes, you have to drill a 7/16″ hole in the side of your guitar. You’ll also need Vaseline to rub on the outer edge of the pickup for installation. I bought this for a squareneck resonator guitar(with a spider bridge) so that I can play live without standing against a microphone. I’d still use a mic if I were recording. I only have two complaints: 1. My high D string isn’t as loud as the other 5 strings, but I may need to get a better preamp or…
