Inexpensive — Not perfect but worthy Lately I’ve been playing around with this JOHNSON BK-520-C (“C” for “Key of C”) Blues King Harmonica and comparing it to two other well-thought of and generally similar blues harps in the youth/beginner ($6 – $10) range: the Hohner Blues Band and the Swan 10-hole Silver Diatonic. While none of them is really up to the par of harmonicas in the $20-$35 range more commonly recommended by advanced amateurs and pros, I do prefer this Johnson model to the competition.
