So Beyond the hype. It’s outstanding I own so many cool things for guitar players. All the major manufacturers of amps and guitars. I’m not a big shot so I save $$$ and choose very carefully. I average a 50/50 when it comes to reviews = reality as it pertains to pedals.This is a slam dunk. excellent overdrive/distortion pedal The old adage you get what you pay for definitely applies here. With a stomp of a button I can turn my Fender deluxe reverb amp into a scooped metal machine then dull it down to a gritty blues rock box with slight break up and chewy sustain and everything in between. If you have a valve amp and are looking to step up the quality your distortion or overdrive, this is a great choice.
