ivy IS-300 TBL Strat Solid-Body Electric Guitar, Trans Blue Burst

Really wanted to like this guitar… So I ordered one of those “Ivy” guitars off Amazon… They’re really cheap (the model I ordered, the IS 300 TBL “Super Strat” style was only $150), and the VERY few reviews I could find were generally positive, so I decided to take a chance… Evidently they’re “IYV” (so the headstock says) or Inyen Vina guitars… Made in Vietnam and also marketed under a couple different names, including “Wolf”…I’ll give ya a few of my first impressions; Keep in mind we’re talkin about a $150 guitar…

This is a Fantastic guitar buy one for your self This guitar reminds me of the Ibanez guitars and so with that in mind here is my review. It came in a single box shipment but no damage so I’m glad of that. It’s a quilted maple top looks like alder on the back. It’s a 5 peace maple and rosewood neck note only on high dollar Ibanez guitars get that. The fretboard looks like ebony but it maybe something else. Very smooth playing. Body has a nice feel to it nice weight balanced and the humbuckers or pickups have a very clean and pronounced…

Surprisingly Nice Guitar!! I was extreme ely surprised and happy with this guitar out of the box. At $150 its a steal..!! Tuners are decent, neck was straight right out of the box. 5 pc neck normally comes on a $1,500-$2,500 guitars..! I am in the process go upgrading the nut to a Black Tusq, and The Bridge to an All Parts roll-matic. those will be done after I finish this review. Don’t listen to the guy that put up the horrible review. He must of been mad because some people received a guitar with a gloss finish. Thats…
