Awesome first guitar. My son is 13. He bought this bass with his own money after he took up playing the bass a year ago. We shopped around and I helped him pick this one out based on my 25 years of Bass and Guitar experience. The sound quality is fantastic out of the box. The hardware, strings, and pickups are very good quality. I personally love the 50’s Retro look to it. He’s been playing it now for 3 months and is more and more happy with it every day.
