Ibanez GSR100Ex I just got mine today,& I absolutely love it. The action is low & perfect. No fret Buzz. No sharp frets. The neck is thin & not overtly heavy. It just feels like a quality Bass.It sounds fantastic.I mostly play guitar & am just looking for a beginner bass.I had worries that with only 2 pick-ups the sound might be lacking, it isnt. Awesome bass, with a couple reservations
Full disclosure, I bought the 5 string version of bass used for $80 bucks. I bought it because it played great and I needed a 5 string. Unfortunately despite what I have seen in other review as a bass player for 42 years now I found it had a very limited tonal range. I have upgraded this bass myself with new tuners, a new nut, a new bridge, a Mad Hatter Guitar Products wiring harness, and finally a Seymour Duncan passive pickup.
