Not even worthy of being a toddler toy…. Seemed like a great deal at first. But after receiving it, I found that this item doesn’t even deserve to be labeled as a child’s toy with how poor quality it is. The right hand half (middle C and above) has such a faint muddled tone that it’s not audible over the left hand keys if they are played. Don’t expect a Baby Grand! A good basic keyboard, but keep in mind at this price point you aren’t going to be getting a “piano quality instrument”. It has many options for changing the instrument tone, using background beats and things like that, and you can even record your own songs – however you can only record one note at a time (no chords!). I think you are getting a lot more fluff than you will actually ever want or need. It strikes me that this might be more of a toy…
Third time was NOT a charm! This is a really nice keyboard, although I have nothing to compare to since this is my first. It has 100 choices for the type of instrument (piano, clarinet, violin, etc) and 100 choices for the beat (cha cha, rock, etc.). One glaring omission to the beat choices is a simple metronome.
