Solid case but batting shifts The outer material of the case is fine, well-made and secure. However, the batting within the walls of the case shifts around. I’ll take the tom out of the case for a gig, store the case and when I take it back out to break down, the batting has all shifted down and it is difficult to put the tom back in the case. I have to hold the case up and shift all the batting back into position before I can fit the tom back in. It’s an annoyance. Some kind of quilt stitch to hold it in place would be…
Perfect Size for Storing Roc N Soc Lunar Drum Throne! Great padded drum bag at a very reasonable price. Bought this one over others because seller listed the actual inside dimensions of the bag. Those dimensions were important because I needed a bag to store my Roc N Soc Lunar drum throne, which has wide office chair style legs (24 inch diameter). I also have the optional throne backrest attachment. So to get it all in the bag I removed the backrest pad, reversed the direction of the backrest post (face down), then placed the pad on it’s side…
This is not the least expensive case out there but is pretty decent all around for the price. I would have given it 5 stars but I thought the padding would be thicker and the shoulder strap does not really adjust long enough to be a shoulder strap. But maybe it wasn’t intended to be..I thought it was but only adjusts a certain amount and not enough to be a shoulder strap. If it wasn’t stitched on, I’d replace it with a better, more padded shoulder strap. It works though as a handle or a shorter…
