Works for me on my Mac I am a newbie to Garageband and quickly realized that I needed a MIDI keyboard. I already had an old Casio from the ’90’s but no cables to attach to my Macbook Pro. I love the price I love the price, the form factor, and the length of the cable. The engineer who designed this must play gigs similar to mine. I did remove the “OUT” cable from mine since I only use this for MIDI input. I will say that this device is easy to service. The case opens and reseals mechanically and the PCB is on this side of the cheap/durable threshold to the point where you can solder/desolder if you are careful. I purchased this as a replacement for my old MIDI … I purchased this as a replacement for my old MIDI which I have misplaced during a recent move. It looks almost the same except this one has some sort of fatal flaw that holds open notes and floods my buffer. I can get out about 10 bars before it completely jams my system with open notes. Same instrument, different chord. I also noticed that when I start up my instrument, it now powers up with some open notes on instead of off. Again, same instrument, different chord.
