The LH500 produces 350 watts when connected to a speaker system with an 8-ohm load, and 500 watts when connected to a speaker system with a 4-ohm load. With that kind of power, the LH500 is extremely loud and punchy. Clean Warm Sound The amp has buckets of power. I have it paired up with a Hartke Hydrive 410 cabinet. It has zero problem delivering a clean, warm low B from my 5 string. Nice clean sound. I use an in-line Zoom B2.1U effects box with pedal. Between the two, I have quite a few cool sound options. If you’re looking for a clean warm sound. This is it. If you’re looking for metal sound or lots of distortion, you may want to look elsewhere.Important…This amp came stock with a…
overall very satisfied. Using it thru two separate Ampeg 1×15 cabs Had the LH500 for a few days now, overall very satisfied. Using it thru two separate Ampeg 1×15 cabs, with my passive Lakland DJ5 bass. Sounds really good. TONS of power. I couldn’t even imagine what the LH1000 with an active bass must be like. Unless you are powering two or more 8×10 cabs, I think the LH500 will be all the power anyone would need and plenty more. With my bass’s 2 volume pots at ~50% and the amp on 2 or 3, it’s plenty loud. The EQ on the amp is a little less sensitive…
