The shoulder pad is great. I also love how the strap locks onto … This strap fits the Yamaha APX600 electric acoustic guitar which I recently picked up. I’m 5′ 7″ and there’s about close to a foot slack remaining which could be tighten up. The shoulder padding is an added bonus and much appreciated. The hinge is made of some form of hard plastic, and I plan on keeping them intact as it stores nicely in the hard case with the guitar.
