Too thin on the padding to offer more than minimal protection. Handle placement results in an awkward neck heaviness when carrying a rectangular lap steel like my $99 Rogue. Can’t say if it would be better for a lap steel with a wider curved body at the bridge end. But if I had a nicer lap steel I’d want a more protective case anyway. I highly recommend you spend $12 more and get the similarly sized Gretch lap steel case. Better balance, better padding, and that case can hold its own shape…
