I saw a lot of the reviews that said the stand is too short, but I’m 5,2 and the stand can reach up to my hip, so its not short unless you are more than 5,6 then it would be a little short, one down side was the drum sticks said china on them, I’m not being racist but you can tell what I mean by that, so I bought new drum sticks that actually weigh something unlike the ones that came with the drum. the snare drum comes with a drum key so…
Good value – for practice only I’m giving this a 4, not compared to other snares, but just on it’s value. If you know how to tune and/or dampen a snare (or just watch a few youtube videos on how) you can get a decent, non-irritating tone out of this, sufficient for practicing buzz-roll and other rudiments.This would never make a good concert snare, but it’s fine for practice.Without tuning and/or dampening, you’ll get an irritating metal ringing.
