I needed to replace the machines on a 50+ year old Kay mandolin, whose tuning knobs were literally falling apart. Was very concerned that what I ordered might not fit, but the measurement seemed to check out at 23 mm, which is still the standard spacing. The M-120 appeared to be a good quality and price point for what I needed. They arrived promptly and in good condition, and I was delighted to find that they fit perfectly.
