Really like these, but I REALLY like Gibraltar products. I actually had purchased the medium length and later decided we needed an extension so we fabricated it on a lathe (from an old tube shock’s shaft!) and used a tool to make those little traction grooves so it looked the same.Only thing I’m worried about is that those grooves do wear out and I’ve noticed on my original one after about a year of use the clamp has a hard time grabbing and it starts to slip. Have to keep moving it until the whole thing…
