The GCS-450C is a three-sided curved rack system designed to work with 5 piece kits All the way to large double bass kits. This rack system with three curved horizontal bars, and four vertical legs and feet, has a very small footprint while offering lots of mounting space. The 450C is part of an open-ended system of parts that will allow you to expand and customize as your kit grows in size. Best investment I’ve made yet when it comes to buying … Best investment I’ve made yet when it comes to buying drum equipment. The rack system is easy to assemble, looks great, has plenty of room to grow, and saves on floor space. I have a 7-piece drum kit with 6 cymbals and I was able to have everything mounted and ready to play within an hour and a half, without having to buy any additional hardware. The rack gives my set a professional appearance and looks great. I still have room on each of the horizontal side bars for additional attachments…
Can Be Used As A Double Bass Rack! First off,to the people who say this rack can’t be used as a double bass rack,umm I beg to differ.. This is a WAY better deal than the Gibralter GRS-850DBL for a little over $40 more. I just finished putting it together and am almost ready to clean up and add my cymbals, and it took under 2 hours to build. It’s easy to put together, but make sure you have a level and tape measure ,because it’s got to be perfectly level all the way around. It does not come with instructions,but it’s not Rocket…
Great Rack, but needs more flexibility! Love the chrome! Gibraltar’s new(ish) racks are awesome and stylish! I dig it! My only reservation is that the way this rack is designed the side bars have to be at the same height as the front bar. This doesn’t really work for me, and I have had to buy two new 90 degree clamps (at $25 each) to set my rack up the way I want it. However, this is a small compaint-I just want people to be aware of it, as it does limit the set-up options…and this is a shame, because racks are supposed to be…
