I Bought This Amp (Twice) And I Wouldn’t Do So Again

THIS IS THE ONE! Like most all of you reading this, I’m a bassist, and probably like many of you, I’m getting older and don’t want to carry around 100 lb. cabs anymore. So I’ve been dipping my toes in the waters of ultralight bass amplification. The first thing I tried was a Carvin MB12. 200W, 31 lbs…. I’ve always used GK. Ever since the first time I plugged into an old, well it was new then, RB 800 head with an SWR Goliath cabinet, I was hooked. It had the sound I was looking for. Back then (early 90’s) I liked that bright punchy sound which seemed to be what every one was goin for.Well fast forward 20 years. I got out of playing music for 15 years.
