It is usable out of the box, but it needs some better set up to make it a more playable instrument. These mods make this a very good instrument, but only if you can do them yourself. Pleased overall, good buy Well, this guitar is overall pretty good. In the first day using it the top strap head pulled out, I’d guess they use a drill bit too big for the pilot hole. I had strap locks to replace those with… the paint is a little iffy, I can tell where spots were taped off. There’s light scratched underneath the clear, you have to look pretty close to see them. About a foot away the guitar looks sharp. The setup is pretty good, the action is a smidge high but I like it that way because I hate fret…
