Good little amp in general. Fuse software is a must. I played this amp with the presets and twiddled with them for a while, but I didn’t really like any of the presets. I almost thought the purchase was a mistake. The amp sounds good enough, but I couldn’t get any of the presets the way I liked them through the amp controls. Enter the Fuse software. Lots of features for the price. This is the perfect little practice amp which pumps out some great sound from a small package. For people who complain that this is too complicated, it’s because they haven’t taken the time to read the instructions and learn how it works. And for those who hate to read instructions, they are very short and simple with tables that show the sound of each setting. Good little amp, with a *massive* caveat. This amp, by itself out of the box, is massively uninspiring. A lot of that is in the asinine way that the presets are constructed. They don’t just store the amp/cab/effects settings, they also store the gain/volume/EQ/etc settings in the presets. The only “live” knob is the master volume. So, If you dial in, say, the Twin Reverb preset (one of my favourites), and think to yourself that it could really use just a bit more bass…. you can’t just turn the bass up a notch. Because…
