The EQ Pad is an adjustable bass drum muffler that enables control over attack and sustain. A hinged damping pad bounces off the head upon impact, allowing some minimal resonance before returning to full damp the head.

Works Great, Less Filling! Had a old pillow doing the job before and while it did the trick it was tacky as all get out. Decided to give this a try and with my fingers crossed hit the buy it button. More Punch and drive with less ‘boominess’… Clean look with clear heads, too! This pad works great for me. I have a Pearl Masters 22″x18″ kick with Evans Emad heads; EmadII batter and Emad Clear reso… I also have a Kickport installed in the front head. The slight amount of “give” as the pad hinges forward after being propelled away from the head lasts just long enough to give the sound of my kick drum a satisfying amount of “body”, and actually increases the punchy sound at the same time.
