EarthQuaker Devices Spatial Delivery V2 Envelope Filter Guitar Effects Pedal with Sample & Hold
What’s up bud! Welcome to your brand new Spatial Delivery! The Spatial Delivery is an oddball, a voltage controlled envelope filter that allows you to step outside the universe of funk while reinforcing your secret love affair with auto-wah. It has 3 modes- Up Sweep, Down Sweep and Sample and Hold. With Range, Resonance and Filter controls you can get super emphasized filter sweeps in the Up and Down modes. The Range, in combination with pick attack, controls the sensitivity and reaction time of the envelope and thus the width of the frequency sweep. The higher the Range and harder the attack equals a faster reaction time and higher frequency sweep and vice versa. Reign in the controls a bit, add your favorite overdrive/fuzz after the Spatial Delivery and you’ve got a real nice resonant, cut-through-the-mix lead tone.

4 in 1 Pedal EQD did it again.Simply amazing pedal that can be a traditional trem or trem with hints of wah or hints of phase. Or, you can turn the trem off and have a phaser or env filter only. You can even have a notch filter, which, to me at least, acts as a subtle, yet raunchy OD without the boost. Also, you can have all of the above set to react to your picking force, unfortunately I don’t see much dynamic to my playing with that setting since, I’m assuming, I’m strictly a fingerpicker…
Be wary of demo videos, you wont get that sound… Needed an auto-wah/envelope filter and after watching that demo video, I HAD to buy the Spatial Delivery. Sadly the pedal I got sounds nothing like the one in the demo clip. First of all, it has a shrilling high end that is unhinged and nearly uncontrollable, especially when using even the slightest touch of overdrive/distortion. I tried running it through the FX loop of my Blackstar HT-5, and it softened the high end screeching but the tone and note clarity is worse. Secondly, it damages the…
