Why didn’t I buy this a couple years ago! String changes are much easier, safer and faster now! Like a lot of other reviewers, I delayed buying this (or other neck cradles) as I felt they were overpriced. Well, I finally caved and bought this Dunlop NC65 cradle. I have several acoustic guitars, and I change the strings fairly often. I always “fought” with keeping the guitar secure while changing strings. Nice product Well thought out and executed. Almost every review I read that was not 5 stars mention the price being too high. I disagree.There are at least 5 molded parts that make up this product. They look to be decent grade polypropylene (maybe I’m wrong). Add to that two affixed sheets of neoprene or something similar and the tacky feet on the bottom and you have something more than a chunk of plastic.More importantly, it works very well. Excellent – works perfectly I’m really happy with this neck cradle! It’s great for anything from routine maintenance like changing your guitar strings to more in depth work like changing out pickups. The padding won’t scratch your neck, the auto leveling works perfectly, and you can flip it over to the flat side to hold the fretboard side of your neck if you need to work on the back of your guitar.
