Read this first No nonsense:1. It’s complete, as advertised and not hard to set up.2. The cymbals sound bad, especially the crash. But they do what they are supposed to do.3. The bass drum pedal doesn’t have great rebound/tension to it, but it’s adjustable and useable.4. The heads are crappy but do their job–for how long, we’l see.5. Perfect for 10 year old son! Bought this for our 10 year old son for his birthday and 5 months later he has not lessened in his excitement. He plays this set every single day. While it doesn’t have quite the sound of an “adult” drum set, it does not sound like a toy set either. Set up wasn’t too bad with the help of the dvd and now he likes to move around and tweak his set to his own liking. I wholeheartedly recommend as I searched long and hard for just the right set.
