Been playing Ukulele for over 15 years. My 2 year old son loves watching me play the Ukulele and always wants to join in but he doesn’t know how to handle it with care and I was not about to let him thrash my expensive one. I began searching for a descent ukulele for him to play for a good budget price. Since I have been playing for so long, no generic ukulele would do and would probably just annoy me. Nice starter kit. Colored strings aren’t very good. This is my first Ukulele. I got the learner kit with the colored strings. The build quality seems good. The bag is super flimsy but better than nothing. The little lesson booklet is basically worthless. I don’t know if the regular Aquila strings are better than the colored ones but I’m not impressed with the colors and I’m not sure that they’re really a valuable learning tool after the first day.
