Great instrument I started on one of those standard Fender beginner banjos. It was decent, but I didn’t realize what I was missing out on until I tried one of these at a guitar store. It was a world of difference. I’m no professional, but it’s my opinion that this is an excellent middle-ground banjo. It’s not crazy-expensive, but it also holds its tuning and sounds beautiful.I like to play with my fingers and this banjo has a nice, warm tone but is still plenty loud- I think the tone ring helps…
