One terrific banjo! Deering builds great banjos and this one is no exception. Sounds great and with geared tuners it’s easy to tune and stays that way. I put on Planet Waves auto-trims just for fun and ordered an armrest and gig bag as afterthoughts but this banjo is perfect as is right out of the box. And it’s a lefty to boot! If you want one for junior to learn on or as a traveler to take on trips, it’s only 4 pounds and fits the bill perfectly. Highly recommended, and as a banjo player for 47 years, I think I…
