Will get you up and rolling real fast if you’re a guitar player. Like other’s have said, this banjitar gitjo or whatever you want to call it takes a little setting up. All banjos do. After tightening up the drum, relocating the pickup, adjusting the action, sanding the bridge, replacing the strings, it plays great and is a lot of fun. These are all pretty much things you should do with any new banjo, anyway.I ended up stringing tenor strings to the lower E and A and keep them tuned high, as the lower strings just don’t sound great no matter what…

SO DISAPPOINTED I realize this is not a thousand+ dollar instrument, however, it is still a good chunk of change for a POORLY-PACKED, slightly scratched, lazily-assembled Banjitar.I had to do so much work to this before I could even play it. I spent 2 days after work just getting to play properly.
