These are real drums, not kiddie drums I bought these for my 5-year old son on the recommendation of a local music shop. At $250ish, I figured there was no downside if they weren’t great. But here’s the deal…they are freaking awesome! Absolutely great drums that look and sound great for a little person to get started on. I’m not a drummer, but I’ve played in bands and I can appreciate a good drum sound.
