D’Addario NYXL1150BT Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings, Balanced Tension Medium
NYXL1150BT is a Balanced Tension set designed for greater dynamic control and a more consistent feel between strings for evenly balanced bending, strumming, fretting, and picking. D’Addario NYXL guitar strings will bend further, sing louder, and stay in tune better than any string you’ve played before. Envisioned, perfected, and manufactured by D’Addario in New York, this newly engineered, break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy delivers a whole new level of freedom, confidence, and power. NYXL’s provide more strength and up to 131% greater tuning stability by utilizing a completely reinvented wire drawing process coupled with a revolutionary “fusion twist” process for the plain steels. The reformulated nickel plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch.

Cannot Recommend Them Enough!!! I have been playing guitar for over 10 years and have never been happier than with the NYXLs. I have been using D’Addario for most of those years and use them for my acoustics as well, both 6 and 12 string. Before these came out I had always used the XLs only veering off every once in a while to try something different, but always going back to them because nothing ever felt as good as D’Addario for me. When these first came out I had to try them and I have never looked back. I can’t add…
Worth the price I got these NYXL strings for my short-scale electric guitar. They are really nice strings with fast attack and some nice mids and lots of detail. They also require very little stretching. Once on the guitar and they stay in tune very well. They are also very good for bends. They are well made and consistent between packs. They all come in a single bag (which is supposed to be environmentally friendly). Fortunately, the ball ends are all color coded and a chart on the back specifies…
Nice feel, smidge more mids or cut through, don’t need as much stretching when installing I’ve been using the D’Addarios of this same gauge for years (EXL115) and decided to give these a try. I just put them on my guitar a few days ago, so I’ll likely come back with an update later on to give a review on their life. But initially I’ve noticed they didn’t require nearly the amount of stretching I have to do quite alot of with the EXL115s when I first put them on. That’s a nice plus for me. Presumably they will stay in tune a little better too, time will tell. The tension also feels a…
