NYXL1052 is a hybrid gauge set, combining the high strings from a regular light set (.010) with heavier low strings (.052). This combination delivers powerful low end for heavy chording and flexible plain steel strings for bending. Worth the price I got these NYXL strings for my short-scale electric guitar. They are really nice strings with fast attack and some nice mids and lots of detail. They also require very little stretching. Once on the guitar and they stay in tune very well. They are also very good for bends.They are well made and consistent between packs.
