Good Strings I ordered these strings just looking to try heavier gauge strings, and I do like the sound. They sound so heavy, even on a clean channel. The texture is rough, which I expected, and the strings have good resistance. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was that I had to adjust my truss rod to account for the extra tension. I probably won’t buy these in the future: but I will continue to buy D’Addario flex steels. The flex steels are lower tension and work better for my style of play. I would…
Consistent tones with ample brightness! After falling out from Ernie Ball, following what was the first time in a decade I had not one but two strings break, I turned to these ProSteels and have been very impressed and very happy.They are a little bright but a simple roll off of on the tone fixes it easily and if I find I need some sharpness it’s there when I want it.Super consistent from nut to joint tones as well.I will be staying in this line for the foreseeable future.Thank you…
