They were formerly sold under the Planet Waves banner, but I guess D’Addario has better name recognition and reputation for putting out quality stuff. This same style is available from other manufacturers, but without the removable top and replaceable sponge. So when the others no longer accept water, they go in the garbage. Those last about two years and then- done. Not this one. I have one from years ago where the sponge was no longer…
