The angle that the guitar sits is absurd, angled way too far back… The angle that the guitar sits is ridiculous. It sits so far back that you can’t put his stand anywhere near anything, it’s constantly in the way because of the radius of clear space it needs. You can’t get closer than 3 feet from a wall. Not only that it doesn’t sit all that securely in the stand. It may work better for an acoustic but my electric sits terribly in this stand. I want to find one specifically for an electric and not a one size fits all like this one, the arms are way too…
DO NOT BUY THESE STANDS/THEY WILL MELT THE BACK OF YOUR GUITARS! NO GOOD WARNING! DO NOT BUY THESE STANDS//WARNING!. DO NOT. It will melt the finish on the back of your guitar. How does it do this? IDK. I can tell you that in less than 6 months these stands damaged several of my guitars. Cost me thousands of dollars in damage. RIght now I have to find a way to get reimbursed. The small squarish area that the back of the guitar leans against reacts with the finish. It literally melts the finish right into the base. AND further, it did this on 3 of DIFFERENT types of guitars…
Decent stand, has a couple (fixable) issues though I bought a two-pack, currently one is being used with a Les Paul, the other for my Fender Champion amp (20). I would prefer if the guitar didn’t lean back quite as far in the stand, you have to set it away from the wall quite a bit. In a corner it’s not so bad.
