Works great as long as input voltage >5VDC I initially encountered issues with this controller, but all is well now! I am using the BTF-Lighting 5VDC 20A power supply which does not maintain 5VDC under the load of a 5m LED strip. When voltage drops to 4VDC this controller will not respond. (This is likely not be a concern when using 12VDC LED strips.) I was able to work around the low voltage issue by powering the controller from a separate power source — I happened to have a 6VDC power supply with correct polarity on the barrel…
Using for an LED wearables project Works great. I am powering 5v ws2812bâs with a 12v power bank using a step-down converter. The controller gets 12v power (saw other reviews that seemed to indicate 5v to the controller was unreliable) . I split the ground and positive wiring before the controller, also routing power and ground through the step-down, and a capacitor for the 5v lights. Everything works well! (Yay, bc this is my first time working with LEDâs) The app works great (restart your phone after install) and it seems…
Even worse, the lights never turn one
