Received used/previously returned unit This review is for GearTree, not the ME80. I ordered this expecting to get a new ME80, however when it arrived it was clearly either used or a previously returned item/open box. The box was taped closed with the front inner flap on the outside of the box instead of the inside. The side inner flaps were torn as if someone had already opened the box. The user manual was in its plastic bag, however the bag was not taped closed and there was a tear in the bag where someone had clearly pulled…
Best deal for a New ME80 Best deal on Amazon for a NEW ME80. For the same price all other venders (including Amazon) are selling the ME80, GearTree included a Gator bag that others are selling for around $30. So A+++ for the value GearTree is providing. Other then that, the ME80 sounds fantastic. I know many people complain about the digital distortion on these units, but I don’t find it sounds that bad. Great effects board, plugged direct into mixer through a DI box with no tone loss.. unlimited capability with this processor. Probably the best deal on the market, VERY simple to setup and operate.. nothing like a Line 6 etc.. easy to use!! tons a tone versatility; it will take time to get the tone just right but with some patience you can dial on any sound you want with the board. the only negative is you can only have 36 saved presets…the factory 36 presets are not changeable..
