WOW factor included Seems to be built like a tank.. I haven’t used a Modeller in many years.. they surely have come a long way..At this price it is a no-brainer.. this amp is fantastic to “me” at this price point.. from clean to dirty.. add some user patches and its just a “wow” factor ..There are a few more effects on the MkII and the pots for effects are now dual pots to make it easier to dial in… POWER AMP IN is now on the Katana to allow you to plug in a multi-effects board etc and bypass…
Using this at home and really happy with it Great sound, fun to noodle around with and experiment. Excellent practice amp with options to lower the watts and use headphones. Came with original firmware so updated it out of the gate. My only dig is there is feedback or noise when I am in lead/brown modes. I was thinking the amp was defective, but it seems you can turn noise suppression on with the software from a Windows or MacOS device. Would have liked to have a knob for that control. Also picked up a HOSA FSC-385 foot switch and…
