Works like a charm Being as this was a product with few (and mixed) reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. The product that I received was made with high quality materials in nice packaging. I wouldn’t say it is exceptionally durable, but comparable to similar industry standard products. There is a “sub-mini” TRS phone jack cord that connects the two pieces. That’s probably the most fragile part. This is nice though, as the MIDI OUT works on it’s own if you don’t need or have a MIDI IN on your device…
Broken out of the box I really don’t like to give one star reviews but this device earned one. It was broken right out of the box. The Midi out was working so I could talk to my computer with the midi but I couldn’t send commands from the computer. Midi in was totally broken. Then when I was trying to clean the connections and was plugging them out and back in again the connection for midi out pulled out of its plastic housing and pulled out all of the wires connected to it.
