Does the job, not the best tone. This is going to do the job I needed it to do just fine. I wanted a small battery operated amp to use with a ukulele bass around the campfire for jam sessions. I wanted just enough volume to be heard at an equivalent to my acoustic bass guitar (unplugged). I haven’t evaluated battery life yet, since I’m still on the cheap batteries provided. Best small battery amp in my opinion I’ve tried a number of small battery powered amps, to include the Danelectro Sweet Honey, Fender Mini Twin, Orange Micro crush, Roland Micro Cube, among a couple others I can’t recall.The Danelectro and Fender amps just sound horrible if you turn them up past whisper volume. I found the Micro Crush and Micro Cube to be way too loud given their intended use. I wanted a amp I could play quietly, not at whisper volumes, but quiet enough so as not to disturb other house…
