Great sound; great value I imagine that there are purists out there that might find fault with this amp, since it’s not “old school” enough (no solid state, no tubes, no individual pedals, etc), but I’m very impressed by its sound quality, functionality, build, and value. First, it’s simple to use, and to my ears, makes my guitar sound as big and mean as a junkyard dog or as well-behaved as a fox terrier with just a few taps of buttons and twirls of knobs. Awesome! Awesome! Easy to use, great tones for multiple genres/styles right out of the box, built in tuner and effects, option to hook up a footswitch, headphone jack, auxiliary jack. This thing is great. Meets all of my needs. The Blackstar Insider software is very cool as well for finding and downloading artist specific tones. I tried the Fender Mustang I V2 20-Watt before this, and will be sticking with this….
