Wisdom and the Worth of a Warranty I’ll TRY to keep it short and sweet: – The setup was relatively easy. – I haven’t had anything break and I’ve been giving quite a beating for about 2 months…no parts even seem close to breaking but the warranty is worth the money in itself.- Someone complained about the sticks but, as I did, I think most people know what size and feel of stick they want and would probably order them alongside the set, or have some already. As a side note, I have not used the sticks…
Best bang for your buck, by far… I am a beginner drummer, but I have played in two actively gigging and one touring rock band as the lead singer, lead/rhythm guitarist, and songwriter. I have jammed around many sets of acoustic and electric drums, from a cheap GP kit to a Pearl Master Series kit, from a $4,000 Roland electric kit to a sub $300 Simmons electric kit and have spoken to many drummers over the years. I can’t speak from a playability standpoint, since I don’t have the chops to know how to perform more advanced…
and I am very happy I bought it This is my first drum kit, electric or acoustic, and I am very happy I bought it. For awhile, I’ve been recording drum tracks either using a midi keyboard, piano roll in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstaion) or a rockband 2 drum kit. With this kit i have the option to record audio from the kit itself or through MIDI into my DAW and use my software instruments. The Behringer XD80USB is an pretty awesome kit.
