Worked great for a ceiling installation! Here are some ceiling tips too… I was looking at these panels to provide acoustic absorption on my ceiling. I had already installed acoustic foam around the walls of my studio, and this appeared to be ideal for my ceiling space and “complete” the room. When I first received the panels I was a bit concerned with how heavy they were (24x48x2 inch panels). They actually weighed more than I expected. Nice professional-looking panel I’m really pleased with this panel, purchased in black. It looks and feels nice, included high-quality z-clips (french cleats, essentially) and a large paper template for installation. I’m using this to help absorb sound during conference calls at my wife’s home standing desk, and it made a noticeable improvement and doubles as a nice backdrop for the webcam.One tip: you might want to purchase your own smaller drywall anchors to minimize the holes in your walls.
