Sounds more expensive than it is ! This is a nice looking guitar . The sides and back are linden so they don’t have the beautiful grain of the mahogany guitars that I have but the sound is better than a couple of the that are much more expensive . I have seen so many reviewers say that because of size this 38 in. guitar was a great beginners guitar , and that’s true . I bought this smaller guitar as a finishing player . Quality guitar, highly recommend. I have a lot of guitars. To be more specific, I have a lot of really nice & expensive guitars. Therefore, I wanted to pick-up a relatively inexpensive guitar that the family could keep around the house and just pick-up whenever we wanted to kick-back and strum away. Took a chance and it turned out to be AWESOME! I need to be better at taking the time to write reviews, but I couldn’t help *not* writing one for this guitar!! When I was young, I tried to learn to play… my 4 older sisters played and I wanted to also. We only had one guitar and it was too big for me. I got discouraged so I just quit.
